The repetition of a single module is at the core of Dmitry Teselkin’s project Konstruktor.
The modules are handmade by the artist and they are arranged to create very different works, from large 3D installations, to panels evoking the idea of paintings.
Each installation is composed of around 40,000 of these elements and is meticulously constructed by Dmitry – sometimes with the help of friends – to counteract (and in a way criticise) the idea of reproduction and mass production within the art world.
